About the event
This trip is most suitable for surfers who are keen to take their surf experience to the next level. The waves in the Mentawai Islands are well-known for being PERFECT waves for the experienced surfer. However, what some don’t expect is that there are actually plenty of small wave breaks around the islands too!
As a group, we’ll be hunting the small and fun waves that allow our guests to have a good and relaxed time in the water. October is shoulder season in the Mentawai Islands and this time of year typically brings smaller than usual swells, meaning there’ll be lots of fun-sized waves on offer. It is necessary that you bring your own surfboard for this trip. Longboards and short boards are most welcome. Please check airline guidelines before bringing your board.
